Aalto Private Equity Club is electing a new Board for 2025!

The application period for the Board of 2025 opens Thursday 19th of September and ends Sunday 6th of October.

Would you like to be part of Finland’s first and only Private Equity and Venture Capital club? Do you wish to network with the top companies of the industry, gain valuable experience, and have an amazing time with like-minded students? Look no further: AaltoPEC is looking for new Board members for 2025!

Since our founding in 2021, AaltoPEC has grown at an unforeseen pace, managing to establish a strong foothold both within the Finnish student community and the top companies of the industry. We aim to yet again exceed expectations in 2025, which is why we are looking for new growth-oriented, enthusiastic, and proactive individuals to join the Board of 2025.

No prior experience required

Please note that no prior knowledge of private equity, student organisations, or relevant work experience is expected. You may have just started your studies, or be more experienced within the student community - we welcome all potential members irrespective of age, school, and major. Note that we expect you to be fluent in Finnish since the board operates in Finnish.

Below you may find short role descriptions. Bear in mind we take your preferences and skillset into account: the positions are tailored based on your interests. So do not worry if you are not sure which positions might be the best for you; we are just looking for highly motivated and easy-to-be-with individuals!

AaltoPEC Board of 2024

Vice President

  • Responsible for managing corporate relations

  • Co-leads the Board with the President

  • Supports event activities

Head of Events

  • Responsible for event planning, supported by other board members

  • Coordinating other board members in event-related projects

  • Manages event-related corporate relations

Head of Brand and Marketing

  • Responsible for AaltoPEC’s brand and marketing

  • Manages sustained social media presence

  • Creates visuals and social media materials

Head of Communications

  • Responsible for event related communications

  • Establishes new leads across the student community

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the Club’s web platforms

Head of Operations

  • Responsible for organising various business excursions

  • Oversees student engagement in AaltoPEC’s activities

  • Supports other board members in their activities

Head of Finance

  • Responsible for financial reporting and cash management operations

  • Develops and improves financial planning and monitoring systems

  • Ensures accounting activities comply with regulations
