Private Equity Academy 2025

Private Equity Academy is a four-part event series designed to take participants through the key phases of the private equity investment process. The program consists of three exclusive excursions with our corporate partners, each providing essential insights into private equity. The series culminates in a Case & Dinner event, where participants will apply their learnings in a practical case exercise and present their analysis to corporate partners.

Throughout the program, leading private equity professionals will share their expertise, providing a comprehensive understanding of deal sourcing, valuation, and value creation. The final case event will challenge participants to integrate their knowledge and develop investment recommendations in a real-world setting.

Top-performing participants will have the opportunity to receive Interview invitations for internship positions at CapMan, Norvestor, and Sponsor Capital.

This is a unique chance to establish a strong foundation for a career in private equity, deepen your industry knowledge, and network with leading professionals in the field.

Who should apply?

The program is designed for students who are motivated to learn about private equity and are considering it as a potential career path. Participants will gain a practical understanding of the investment process while engaging with industry professionals in a structured and and interactive setting.

NOTE: This event series will be held in Finnish.

Event series in detail

Venue: 

  • The first 3 excursions held at the corporate partners’ offices (details announced later)

  • Final Case & Dinner event hosted by AaltoPEC (details announced later)

Application: 

  • Apply by submitting your CV and a short Letter of Motivation/ Cover Letter (Max. 1 page each)

  • The Letter of Motivation should include a brief description of relevant experiences/achievements, what makes you a suitable candidate for this programme, and your motivation toward private equity

  • Note: CVs and Letters of Motivation are distributed to corporate partners 

  • Deadline for applications is Tuesday 11 March 2025.

Interview invitations: 

  • CapMan, Norvestor and Sponsor Capital are offering interview invitations for internship roles

  • Interviews are offered to the best-performing participants

  • Performance is assessed in the final case (Case & Dinner event), which tests participants’ learnings from the programme (no other preparation required)

  • Participants will be informed about the results by corporate partners after the programme end
