On the 24th of August, Aalto Private Equity Club hosted the Meet the Professionals -event, which brought together ten global and local private equity firms with twenty investment professionals. The event had 120 participants, making it one of the largest events the Club has ever hosted to date.

The event began with a 90-minute cruise along the coast of Helsinki. During the cruise, the participants had the opportunity to connect with industry professionals from EQT, Triton, CapMan, Tesi, Vaaka Partners, UB FIGG, Intera Partners, Norvestor, Mandatum Asset Management PE and Voland Partners in a relaxed setting.

After the cruise, the evening continued with a three-course meal at the luxurious Katajanokan Kasino. Participants engaged in discussions with multiple private equity professionals as corporate representatives changed places throughout the course of the dinner.

The event was different from any other event hosted by AaltoPEC as Meet the Professionals did not include any presentations or keynote speeches. As a result, the event was dedicated to informal networking, fostering connections with industry professionals and fellow participants from various universities across Finland.

All in all, the first Meet the Professionals -event was very well-received. The Board of Aalto Private Equity Club would like to extend its gratitude to everyone who participated in the event, and we highly value the positive feedback received from both corporate partners and participants.
