AaltoPEC x Grand Meet: Highlights

For our last event of the spring, the PE Grand Meet, AaltoPEC brought together four top players in the industry: CapMan, Sponsor Capital, Altor, and Bocap. During the evening, the participants got to hear two inspiring panel discussions, enjoy some delicious antipasti with sparkling wine, and mingle with the company representatives.

The event kicked off with introductions of our amazing partners for the event: CapMan, Sponsor Capital, Altor, and Bocap. CapMan and Sponsor Capital are AaltoPEC's official partners whereas Altor and Bocap joined us for this event specifically.

Then, it was time for the first panel discussion: Making a Private Equity Investment. Our panelists shared their personal experiences and gave some concrete insights into how the PE deal process works.

After the first panel discussion, the participants got a chance to mingle with the company representatives and ask them any questions in a relaxed setting.

After enjoying some food and wine, we moved on to the second panel discussion: What does it take to build a career in Private Equity? Our panelists talked about their own educational and professional backgrounds and gave some advice to students in the early stages of their careers.

The board of AaltoPEC wants to thank everyone who participated in the PE Grand Meet and all our other events this year. Building AaltoPEC from the ground up has been a unique learning experience for us, and it has been rewarding to receive positive feedback. We look forward to organizing more events and providing more content next fall!
